Boohzoo! My name is Danika St-Laurent. I am Anishnaabe (Saulteaux) from Muskowekwan First Nation, Saskatchewan. I was born and raised in Quebec and have lived my whole life in Tio’tia:ke (Montreal).

I started Neebageesis Beadwork in 2020 as a passion project — a way to ground myself and reconnect during the uncertainty of the pandemic. What began as a creative outlet soon became a form of medicine: a space to breathe, create, and heal.
